Colour Purple International Month is our annual raising awareness and funds month for women and children; facing specific challenges and it takes place through the month of December every year. Colour Purple International Month will provide funding for our three - tiered missions to :

1)   Provide sustainable aid to children orphaned by the Ebola Virus in the area of food, clothing, education, housing, health etc.

2) Providing sustainable projects through our grant programme for female amputees whose limbs were barbarically hacked off during the ten tear war in Sierra Leone, widows of the deceased amputees including their dependants.

3) Rendering care and support of women and girls who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence, rape, rejection, emotional or/and psychological abuse, female genital mutilation/circumcision or in potential threat of FGM/C.

We will also have a video section for our advert and support videos from 4 champions.

Ask your colleagues at work, your friends, families or the children at school to wear purple for a week and make a donation of £3 or more.

“The colour, Purple signifies ROYALTY, when I see our beneficiaries I see beyond their present conditions, I see royals, I see overcomers. I know what feels like to be rejected or to experience prejudice, if I could overcome a difficult patch in my life, so can these women” Faith Okrafo- Smart, Founder of Melqosh Mission International.
